03 The view

The view from Maggi.

Every suite at CORE faces the water, Maggi included. That is the one thing the category system guarantees.

Outside those doors, Maggi has a terrace table under an awning, entered past the name plaque. That is what the photographs on this page show. What is true of the whole hillside: the town is across the water, about five kilometres away by road, and aircraft on final approach pass in view of the terraces. Guests here describe that as a spectacle rather than a nuisance.

Measured on Google Maps from the door, 2 September 2026. The footpath into town is shorter in kilometres than the road and takes about forty minutes on foot, so the town is not walkable in any useful sense: plan on a car or a taxi. There is no bus on this side of the island, and the property runs no transfer service.
