Three doors,
four guests.
Patrick, Stavros and Alessia make up the Family category: three of the fourteen suites, each sleeping four. It is the largest group of doors we can offer a family, which usually means the best chance of a yes in July and August.
The house is quiet by design. There is no pool to keep an eye on and no restaurant to dress for. There is a hillside, a view the children remember, and an airport six minutes away, so arrival day is short and the first swim is the same afternoon.

What is here,
and what is not.
Core Luxury Suites is a house of fourteen suites on a hillside. It is not a resort, and the list of things it does not do is short and deliberate.
- Skiathos Airport
- 6 min
- The old port
- 13 min
- Xanemos Beach
- 8 min
- Koukounaries Beach
- 29 min
All times are approximate, by car. The old port is around 41 minutes away on foot; there is no bus on this side of the bay, so a car is recommended.
- No pool The quiet is the amenity.
- No restaurant or bar The tavernas are across the water.
- No breakfast service Nothing is served at CORE.
- No transfers Taxis wait at the airport and the port. Your hosts will pass on a number.
05 The doors
Three doors.
Three names.
No suite at CORE has a number. Each carries a family name, and the plate beside the door says so. You book the category; Magda and Gregory choose which door is yours.
Each photograph shows the suite beside it, except where a house photograph stands in.

Three suites built around a family staying a week. The eight things guests ask before booking one.
How many people does the Family Suite sleep?
Four. There are three Family suites at Core Luxury Suites — Patrick, Stavros and Alessia — and bed arrangements vary between them, because you book the category rather than a named room. Ask us about layouts before you book.
Can we choose which Family suite we get?
No. You book the category and the hosts assign a suite within it on arrival, from whatever is available. Every name belongs to a real door with a plate beside it, but the names are not selectable.
Does the Family Suite have a sea view?
Yes. All fourteen suites at Core Luxury Suites face the water, across the bay towards Skiathos Town and the port. What differs between categories is space and capacity, not the view.
What is not included with a Family Suite?
There is no breakfast service, no restaurant, no bar and no pool at the property, and no transfer service. The nearest beach is about seven minutes away by car, and the old port about thirteen. The minimum stay is two nights.
What is in a Family Suite?
Air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a private furnished terrace facing the water, in all three. There is a safe-deposit box on the property. What a suite holds for food and drink is a question for us. Layouts differ between Patrick, Stavros and Alessia.
Where do we park a car for a Family Suite?
Free private parking on site, inside the gate, with no need to reserve a space. One car parks easily. The property is also a hillside with steps between levels, which is worth knowing with a pushchair in the boot. There is no bus on the Pounta side of the bay, so a car or a taxi is how every guest arrives and how every dinner in town happens.
What time can we get into a Family Suite?
From 15:00, and the hosts take arrivals until 23:30. Check-out is by 11:00, with the door open from 07:00 for an early flight — the airport is six minutes away. Your booking confirmation carries the times for your rate; tell the hosts if you will be late.
Can we add a bed or a cot to a Family Suite?
This matters most in this category. Cots are not available anywhere at Core Luxury Suites, so a family travelling with a baby should bring a travel cot. The three suites sleep four without one. Pets are not allowed in any category and the property is smoke-free indoors, so those two are settled whichever suite you take.

Somewhere to come back to.
Every afternoon.
