The plainest name
on the list.
Demi and Alex 1 are the two Classic suites, each for two guests. It is the smallest category in the house, so if your dates are fixed it is the one worth asking about early.
Classic is the least apologetic word we use. The view is the same view. The pines are the same pines. Magda and Gregory host you and hand over the key. Questions before you arrive are answered by the support team.
Where Core Luxury Suites sits on the island03 The house, plainly
What is here,
and what is not.
Core Luxury Suites is a house of fourteen suites on a hillside. It is not a resort, and the list of things it does not do is short and deliberate.
- Skiathos Airport
- 6 min
- The old port
- 13 min
- Xanemos Beach
- 8 min
- Koukounaries Beach
- 29 min
All times are approximate, by car. The old port is around 41 minutes away on foot; there is no bus on this side of the bay, so a car is recommended.
- No pool The quiet is the amenity.
- No restaurant or bar The tavernas are across the water.
- No breakfast service Nothing is served at CORE.
- No transfers Taxis wait at the airport and the port. Your hosts will pass on a number.
05 The doors
Two doors.
Two names.
No suite at CORE has a number. Each carries a family name, and the plate beside the door says so. You book the category; Magda and Gregory choose which door is yours.
Each photograph shows the suite beside it, except where a house photograph stands in.

The two plainest suites in the house. The eight things guests ask before booking one.
How many people does the Classic Suite sleep?
Two. There are two Classic suites at Core Luxury Suites — Demi and Alex 1 — and bed arrangements vary between them, because you book the category rather than a named room. Ask us about layouts before you book.
Can we choose which Classic suite we get?
No. You book the category and the hosts assign a suite within it on arrival, from whatever is available. Every name belongs to a real door with a plate beside it, but the names are not selectable.
Does the Classic Suite have a sea view?
Yes. All fourteen suites at Core Luxury Suites face the water, across the bay towards Skiathos Town and the port. What differs between categories is space and capacity, not the view.
What is not included with a Classic Suite?
There is no breakfast service, no restaurant, no bar and no pool at the property, and no transfer service. The nearest beach is about seven minutes away by car, and the old port about thirteen. The minimum stay is two nights.
What is in a Classic Suite?
Air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a private furnished terrace facing the water, in both. There is a safe-deposit box on the property. What a suite holds for food and drink is a question for us. Layouts differ between Demi and Alex 1.
Where do we park a car for a Classic Suite?
Free private parking on site, inside the gate, with no need to reserve a space. Tell the hosts if you are bringing a second car. Two couples booking two Classic suites should say so, so the hosts can allow for both. There is no bus on the Pounta side of the bay, so a car or a taxi is how every guest arrives and how every dinner in town happens.
What time can we get into a Classic Suite?
From 15:00, and the hosts take arrivals until 23:30. Check-out is by 11:00, with the door open from 07:00 for an early flight — the airport is six minutes away. Your booking confirmation carries the times for your rate; tell the hosts if you will be late.
Can we add a bed or a cot to a Classic Suite?
Classic sleeps two and there is no extra bed and no cot. Two suites in the category means a pair of couples can sometimes take both side by side, which is worth asking about. Pets are not allowed in any category and the property is smoke-free indoors, so those two are settled whichever suite you take.

The same sea.
The same welcome.
