What kind of accommodation is Core Luxury Suites?
A house of fourteen sea-view suites on the Pounta hillside, across the bay from Skiathos Town. It is sold as five categories rather than fourteen rooms, it is run by its owners, and the minimum stay is two nights.
The suites are grouped into Signature, Family, Superior, Deluxe and Classic. Each category holds between two and four rooms, every one of them facing the water. You book the category; Magda and Gregory assign a suite on arrival, which is why no name can be selected or requested.
What it is not is a hotel. There is no restaurant, no bar, no breakfast service and no pool, and the property runs no transfers. The nearest beach is about eight minutes away by car and the old port about thirteen, with no bus on this side of the bay.
Which category should you book?
Start with how many of you there are. Classic takes two, Deluxe two to four, Superior primarily two and occasionally up to three depending on the suite, Family four, and Signature up to five. After that it is a question of how much room you want rather than what you get.

Every suite faces the sea. The difference between the categories is space and capacity, not the view, and bed arrangements vary between the rooms inside a single category — which is the one thing worth asking about before you book.
Questions about the suites
Why can't we choose a named suite?
The fourteen suites are sold as five categories, and the hosts assign a room within your category on arrival from what is available. Every name belongs to a real door, but the names are not a menu and cannot be requested.
Do all the suites have a sea view?
Yes. All fourteen face the water, across the bay towards Skiathos Town and the port. What differs between categories is the size of the suite and how many guests it takes.
What is the minimum stay?
Two nights. A suite cannot be booked for a single night. The booking engine shows live availability and rates by category for your dates.
Is there breakfast, a restaurant or a pool?
None of the three. Nothing is served at CORE, and there is no bar and no pool. Skiathos Town, where the restaurants and the supermarkets are, is about 13 minutes away by car.
How far is the nearest beach?
Xanemos is the nearest beach, about eight minutes by car. Megali Ammos, the organised Blue Flag beach near the town, is about twelve. There is no bus on this side of the bay.
Is parking included, and is it secure?
Yes, free private parking on site and inside the gate, with no need to reserve a space. With no bus on this side of the bay, nearly every guest keeps a hire car for the week and leaves it here between outings.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Check-in from 15:00, arrivals taken until 23:30, and check-out by 11:00 with the door open from 07:00. Your booking confirmation carries the times that apply to your rate. Tell the hosts before you travel if your flight lands late.
Do the suites have air conditioning and wifi?
Both, in every suite, along with a private furnished terrace over the water. A Starlink connection was installed after a guest reported the Wi-Fi failing, which is the sort of thing an owner-run house fixes quickly.
Are pets allowed, and can we smoke?
No pets, in any category, and the property is smoke-free indoors. Cots are not available either, so bring a travel cot if you are coming with a baby. All three are better known now than at the door.
