For tour operators and local suppliers
For Skiathos
tour operators.
We list the people our guests already ask us about. No commission, no fee, no exclusivity — a licensed operator, a real cancellation policy, and an insurance certificate.
Why we are building a list at all
Guests staying on the Pounta hillside ask the same question every week: what is there to do, and who should we book it with. We would rather answer with someone we have checked than with a leaflet from the port.
Core Luxury Suites is fourteen sea-view suites in five categories, run by the two people who own it, open through the season. There is no restaurant, no bar and no tour desk, which is precisely why this page exists: the recommending happens in conversation, and we want it to be well founded.
The listing itself is free. We take no commission, ask for no exclusivity, and sell nothing on your behalf — guests book with you directly. What we get out of it is a better answer to a question we are asked constantly.
See the nine categories we listWhat we ask for
Three documents and one policy. Nothing here is unusual for a licensed operator, and all of it is the sort of thing a guest would want us to have checked.
- A licence number The MHTE or GNTO registration you actually trade under.
- Liability insurance We ask to see the certificate before anything goes live.
- A cancellation policy In writing, covering bad weather. Guests ask about this more often than about price.
- Photographs we may use With whatever credit you want carried alongside them.
- A person who answers A name and a number, rather than a booking widget.
What we do not ask for is a fee, a commission split, an exclusivity agreement, or a minimum volume. If any of that is what you were expecting, this is not that kind of arrangement.
How a listing works
You send the form below. If the paperwork checks out, we write back with the wording we propose to use and the photographs we would like to run, and nothing goes live until you have seen it. Editorial control stays with us — the copy on this site is written in one voice and checked against one set of facts — but nothing about your business gets published in a form you have not approved.
A listing is not an endorsement, and it is not a recommendation we will defend. Core Luxury Suites is not a party to any contract between a guest and an operator, takes no payment in either direction, and carries no liability for an excursion it neither sells nor runs. Either side can end a listing at any time, without notice and without a reason.

Questions from operators
Seven things operators ask before they send the form.
What does a listing cost?
Nothing. There is no listing fee, no commission, no referral payment and no minimum volume. We are not building a marketplace; we are answering a question our guests ask us every week.
Do you take a cut of the bookings?
No. Guests book with you directly and pay you directly. No money moves between CORE and a listed operator in either direction, which is also why we can say plainly that a listing is not for sale.
How long does it take to hear back?
Longer than you would like in July and August. Magda and Gregory read applications themselves rather than passing them to a desk, so a reply takes days rather than minutes at any time of year.
Is the listing exclusive?
No, in both directions. We will list more than one operator in a category, and nothing stops you working with every other property on the island at the same time.
Who writes the description?
We do, and you approve it before it goes live. The copy on this site is written in one voice and checked against one set of facts, so we cannot run supplied marketing text unedited.
Can a listing be removed?
At any time, by either side, without notice and without a reason. If your licence or insurance lapses we will take it down until it does not.
Does a listing mean CORE recommends us?
It means we have seen your licence, your insurance and your cancellation policy. CORE is not a party to any contract between a guest and an operator and carries no liability for an excursion it neither sells nor runs.
